Crossword Puzzles


Only one crossword so far, but we hope to post more in the future.

These interactive puzzles use a Java applet, and Javascript and web page scripting should be enabled. A reasonably recent browser is required (Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, Netscape 7, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari etc).

Take the link below to go to the puzzle, then click any word in the grid to get the clue and a box to enter the answer. Any word you are stuck on can be filled in by clicking the Solve button. If the answer is made up of more than one word, spaces should not be entered, nor any punctuation. When you're done, use the Check Puzzle button beneath the grid to see how you did!

Our featured feline at the head of the page, having quite a lot of fun, is Ragamuffin, or Rags for short: sadly he's no longer with us. A cat of great character who seemed to live by the maxim 'Life is for living', it was devastating for me when that life was cut short by a road accident. A rescue cat, he lived with me in North Wales for less than four years only. You can see a little tribute to him here with a more flattering photo.
